Share Certificates in Joint-Stock Companies
One of the most frequently asked questions lately is how shares or stock certificates are processed. First, orders are taken for the printing of stock certificates. Preliminary preparations are generally made in accordance with legal requirements and presented to company officials. The process is completed quickly by applying the desired features such as watermarks, colors, denominations, and serial numbers. These operations usually take between 2 and 4 days. There are also some measures and stages you can take against counterfeiting. These typically include measures like holograms, laser applications, etc. You can also have your company logos or desired images printed on share and stock certificates in the most effective and shortest timeframes, according to your preferences. In these areas, partnership shares are generally tightly bound within specific sections. Along with these, in joint-stock companies in our country, issuing stock certificates or their temporary equivalents, called 'ilmühaber', is among the essential steps that must be taken.
Share Certificate Printing Services
According to the new Turkish Commercial Code (TTK), share certificates represent the ownership status of shareholders and also provide certain tax advantages to their holders. However, it should be known that certain necessary transactions are also carried out by companies regarding share certificates and tax advantages as stipulated in the Turkish Commercial Code. If stock certificates, i.e., shares, are in written form, the board of directors must print the share certificates and distribute them to the shareholders within three months from the date of full payment of the share capital. Accordingly, the board of directors' decision regarding the printing of bearer share certificates is registered and announced. On the other hand, 'ilmühaber' can be issued until the share certificates are printed. Provisions regarding registered shares are also applied in a short time through comparison with 'ilmühaber'. It should also be known that if minority shareholders make requests, registered share certificates are printed and distributed to all registered share certificate holders in a short period.
