Tips for Ironing
Housewives generally do not enjoy ironing, and it is usually their least favorite part of housework. This is because they generally do not know the techniques of ironing and therefore find it quite difficult.
When ironing, you should start from the middle of the fabric or garment you are ironing, move the iron smoothly from the center outwards, and do not press too hard on the iron, because it is the steam power that straightens the fabric, not the weight.
You need to set a separate heat and steam setting for each type of fabric when ironing. For example, synthetic and silk fabrics should be ironed at low or medium heat. Medium or high heat is required for cotton, linen, and woolen fabrics.
