My Country's Crisis Diary

My Country's Crisis Diary
Now We Face a Oath Crisis For Turkey, emerging from a new election, a new government needs to be established and parliament needs to start working. As parliament is being formed, new deputies, to begin with, declare their commitment to Turkey, that they will work honestly, and that they will always defend the right, through an oath before the entire country. However, some deputies use different words during this oath according to their own beliefs. This is exactly what is happening in parliament right now. If someone tries to do their own advertising, then the speaker must put a stop to it. How to Take an Oath, What to Pay Attention To? To take an oath in parliament is like saying, 'I have come here as a deputy, and I will abide by all its rules and laws.' To agree until then and then do the opposite on the podium is to plunge the country into crisis. No one has the right to do this. There is a specific text and specific rules prepared for the oath. If there is any deviation from this, the oath will not be accepted.
